2010 has been a joyous and exciting year!

One year ago, my mom gave me my very first sewing machine.
It was such a wonderful surprise!
Who would have thought, just one year later,
Daydream Believers Designs would be a reality?

I am so grateful for the opportunity to create one-of-a-kind
handmade outfits for extra-special, one of a kind kids!
Through this website and the amazing Etsy community,
I have met some wonderful people!
It is an honor to have created special

THANK YOU to all of my customers! :)
I can't wait to design for you again next year!

I am grateful to God that my chemo-cap tutorial has been so
well received and that I have had the chance to connect with and
help so many people. I am humbled and sincerely touched by the
kind words so many readers have taken the time to write to me.
THANK YOU to all of my readers and to all of the fantastic
people who have used or shared this tutorial!
I look forward to promoting more
charitable opportunities in the new year!

The blogging-world is really exceptional!
I am so pleased to be a small part of an amazing community.
A community of mothers, crafters, Christians; women who want
to change the world while simultaneously running households,
operating small businesses and raising children. Women like me.
Women who love their lives, love their families, and love to create.
I am inspired on a daily basis by the amazing writers, crafters,
all around awesome people out there sharing their talents!
THANK YOU to all the fabulous bloggin' mummas!
I can't wait to see what ya'll create in 2011!

I am a very blessed woman.
I have a phenomenal support system of family and friends
who encourage and inspire me to create!
THANK YOU to my hubs, my sweet daughters,
my parents, my sibs and my girlfriends...you all ROCK!
Thank you for celebrating my accomplishments
and supporting me in this exciting venture!
I can't wait to see what 2011 brings to us all
...I've got BIG plans, don't you worry! ;)

I wish you all a joyous holiday and a Blessed New Year!
Have a VERY Merry Christmas!
See you in 2011!

Hi Friends!
I'm in the process of updating the website!

I should have the site up and running again very soon!

Turkeys, Traditions and a little Q & A

Happy December ya'll!

We had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving! We cooked, we ate, we praised the Lord and gave thanks to Him for our MANY Blessings! :)

It was a GREAT holiday weekend!

Yesterday I whipped up this little crafty mumma goodness-

Isn't it sweet?

Growing up we always had a pocket advent calendar; it is a treasured holiday memory for my entire family. I'm looking forward to carrying on the tradition with my little ladies!

In my family, our holidays are filled with traditions! Special puzzles, movies, meals, stories, games, treats, rituals...I'm pretty sure that's why we stretch Christmas into an 8 week event spanning all of November and December, so we can fit in all the fun! :) It is truly the most wonderful time of the year!

Night Owl Crafting hosts a fun "get to know you" feature called "Hoo are you?" - Each week she posts 5 personal questions for bloggers to answer, share their answers, and then link up to the post so other bloggers/readers can get to know you a little better. Isn't that a fun idea? This week, the questions are all about Christmas! Yea! :)

I'm participating and I encourage you to do it too!  If you don't have a blog, I'll share mine! It's cool ;)  Just answer the questions in a comment to this post!

Here are this week's questions!

1. Do you like to listen to Christmas music?

2. Are you one of those people who get all their shopping done early, or do you do most of it in December?

3. Do you set a budget on how much you spend on each person?

4. Do you send out Christmas cards?

5. Do you enjoy this holiday season or does it stress you out?

Here are my answers!

1. Do you like to listen to Christmas music?

I ♥LOVE♥ to listen to Christmas music! I could listen to it year round! Christmas carols make me happy! We have a local Radio Station that plays them non stop - love it! :)

2. Are you one of those people who get all their shopping done early,

or do you do most of it in December?

I am an early shopper! I LOVE to give Christmas presents, so I always start early! The downside to shopping early is that I'm sometimes tempted to give presents away early! ;)

3. Do you set a budget on how much you spend on each person?

The hubs and I have a very flexible budget

4. Do you send out Christmas cards?

YES! I love sending and receiving Christmas Cards! This year we are sending photo cards from Shutterfly - Love them!

5. Do you enjoy this holiday season or does it stress you out?

I enjoy it completely! Every detail of the holiday season makes me happy! My husband and I even chose to get married in December because I love this time of year so much! :)
