This month, I also {finally} finished my web redesign! YEA!
BIG thanks to Nina at Momma Go Round for helping me
conquer my remaining html issues! Nina has a fantastic
series of tutorials teaching us non-techy-types how to
beautify our blogs. I highly reccommend it if you're looking
to update your page! I used Nina's excellant advice to
create the fab page-link-buttons on the side of my site!
Her series also inspired me to *finally* create a button!
Whoo hoo! ;) I'm linking my new & improved blog to
Nina's "Beautify Your Blog" Party.

Jaxon's Winter ONE-derland Party!

One of the sweetest little guys I know, Jaxon, recently
celebrated his very first birthday!
I was honored to help his mumma plan his special party!

By now, you know, I LOVE a themed party!
For Jax, we took the "Winter ONEderland" concept to a new
(more personalized) level - by focusing on boy-friendly snowmen
and incorporating Harley Davidson motorcycles! The combo was
PERFECT for Jax's party, as his family loves their Harleys! :)

Here's a recap of the fun!

The kiddos played
"Pin the Nose on the Snowman"and "Snowball Toss"

Beverages:
Snowman Slush & The Snow Much Fun Hot Cocoa Bar

The Birthday Boy and his pretty Momma!

This is Jax's present from my parents;
They decorated it to match the party perfectly! LOVE them! ;)

Custom Cowgirl Banners

I LOVE making personalized party decor! :)
It is such a privilege to design and create unique, one-of-a-kind
decorations and outfits for life's most special days!

I recently made two of these ADORABLE
cowgirl banners for a customer in Louisiana.
I LOVE this color combination!

SO Sweet!
Makes me smile and think of Miss I*'s Boot Scootin' Birthday Party

Miss I's Pirate Princess Outfit

Last weekend, my daughter Miss I*, had a great time celebrating
her friend Emma’s 3rd birthday! As I mentioned in {this} post;
Emma’s mom is the very talented Jes of {Parapluie Modern Events}
Jes sent out fabulous, hand painted, treasure map invitations
asking all the little party guests to wear pirate or princess attire;
it was fun to see so many little pirates & princesses!
Here is the outfit I made for Miss I* -

I made the hand cut Jolly Roger appliqué out of black and white
“pirate” striped fabric. To keep the shirt girly, I embellished the
appliqué with a red glitter face and a large, red chiffon bow.

I made Miss I*’s bright red pettiskirt for Christmas
and she LOVES to wear it! I just love those frills!

I layered the pettiskirt over a pair of black leggings that I
embellished with black and white “pirate” striped ruffle cuffs!
{I heart the way the cuffs turned out!} ;)

I hand sewed the sparkly princess crown to the front of the skirt
to make the outfit a little more “fancy” and princess like!
We accessorized with a black marabou feather puff, a red
chiffon bow, and black Converse All-Stars! :)

Here’s my little pirate in action!
I LOVE a themed party!
Such a fun day! :)

The Princess-Pirate Birthday Shirt

Here's a peek at the Princess-Pirate birthday shirt, I made this weekend, for sweet Miss Emma.

Emma's mom is the talented Jes of Parapluie Modern Events.
Jes has planned a phenomenal Princess & Pirate's themed party
to celebrate Miss Emma's 3rd birthday. I'm thrilled to have
designed this special shirt for the big day.

I wanted the shirt to have a "treasure map" feel, but look very girly...
I love the way it turned out!
